have a 2001 allroad my aux. fan stopped working ...wondering if anyone knows where the relay or fuse to it are....and my a/c stops cooling at idle wondering if it might be because of the fan...it works fine if you are driving but as soon as you stop at a light it stops cooling please help if you have had this problem or know how i can fix...motor only has 59k
thanks in advance for any help i tried looking for the relay but could not find it...all the fuses on the driver panel are good..unless there is other fuses i do not know about....again if you can help i appritiate it...don't want to take it to dealer as they will probably want to change the whole motor...lol....EXPENSIVE...

i had this very problem about a month ago! took it to the dealer after work hours while mechanics were still there and they took a crow bar and banged at the fan motor about 6 times. this seemed to loosen up some buildup(dirt/grime) and voila, the fan starting working and the car was back to cooling like a champ! give it a try and let me know!!!
