Default Spacers on the AR?

Now as I've mentioned, I'm not heavy into mods. But with all that lovely fender to fill up... has anyone thought about putting on some spacers?

I have used spacers before... but it was a long time ago on a 62 beetle/dunebuggy. Not quite a performance machine.

Are they safe/reliable/advisable? Any input?

I actually spent a couple minutes goofing around with photoshop to widen my allroad's stance a bit.

Original first... then modified. (no wisecracks... I only spent 5 minutes on it. ) Edit: Whoops.. reverse that. Modified first.

Default RE: Spacers on the AR?

I'm with you on wanting to beef up the stance, but never thought of using spacers. I wanted to go with some 19s on it, but I keep thinking about potholes that are going to chew the hell out of 'em.

You check out hartmann wheels and spacers yet? They've got some killer replicas...pricey, but they look great and they're very well made.
