Default suggestions..interior

What is everybody using to protect the dashboard from drying out and cracking. I'm looking for something that doesn't have that shiney wet look. Any suggestions?

Wink

gonna let the cat out of the bag here is everyone listening!!!! ever notice how the rear seats in newer suv look new and the fronts are always worn out.... yeah sometimes its the way people slide into a vehicle but for the most part its not. You want to really protect your leather GET YOUR WINDOWS TINTED AND GET A FRONT TINT STRIP!!!! that is the secret leather will stay looking new when it is not exposed to UV RAYS ever put a magazine on your dash or in the rear window check it out about a month later and see how the UV RAYS destroy it imagine 5 years 8years of uv exposure day after day on you leather. Tint you windows and if you are worried about your dash carry a bath towel with you and cover your dash with it when you are not using the car. Do not use armor all on your dash or anything that makes it shiny these product will destroy your dash (trust me I know i make a lot of money by people who use these products thinking they were doing a good thing, the sun hit the armor all and the solvents in the armor all made the vynil coating in the dash bubble and separate the dash) wipe your seats and dash with a mixture of soap and water on a damp rag wipe dont scrub take your time until it is clean same with the dash. if you forget check in your allroad owners manual and they will tell you the same thing. Remember the window tint blocks uv rays and keeps the car cooler.

That was the very first thing I did when I bought my allroad was tint the windows. Besides protecting everything inside from UV rays, it looks so much better with tint. I do use one of those fold up window sun reflectors for the windshield. I keeps the car much cooler on those hot days. I just want to make sure my dash is not drying out from the intense heat down here in the south, being I didn't have the car for the first 5 years of it's life.
