i've ben looking at the 05 allroad for a while now. i actually flew down to ft. lauderdale to buy one, and when i got there and drove it, it shimmied and swayed, was as dirty as a car with 5 kids in the family and left me with a bad taste. obviously it was a pitiful attempt of the dealer to do absolutely nothing prior to selling a car. are there any reasons NOT to buy an 05?

No, I just wouldn't buy THAT 05...

There's not very much different between 02-05. The 01 lacked sport mode on the tiptronic... and a few other little things.
