Default Very soft rear suspension

I've had my 2002 Audi Allroad 2.7T for three years now and love the car in many ways. However, I think the rear suspension is way too soft - it "floats" like an old big Cadillac (nothing wrong about Cadillacs though) - and whenever I hit a bump in the road, it jumps up and down quite a bit.

I asked the dealship about this and they said it is "normal". A few weeks back I had two guys from Europe visiting (these guys are driving Audi's, BMW's and Merchedes for both work and private) and they made the same remark I did.

Anybody else experiencing the same? Is it "really" normal?

Thanks
- Ace

This seems like an unusual complaint. How many miles? What level are you on?I know when I put H-Sports on mine it tightened up the suspension

The Allroad had about 45000 miles on it when I got it three years ago and now it has about 71000 miles and it hasn't changed anything over those three years - not worse, not better...

I didn't find much in this forum, nor online, indicating that people had a lots of complains about this so it may be that something is wrong with the car. However, the dealership says it is "normal" so I'm not sure how to handle it. Besides, now that it is out of warranty maybe they'll now tell me that it is not normal.

Believe it or not it seems to be the worst at the lowest level.

At times I actually drive with it one level up just because it feels a little tighter.
