I have the AEB engine I pulled out of my 2000 A4 Quattro Manual that I need to get rid of. It broke off an exhaust valve doing 65 down the freeway. After pulling the head we found the head was pretty badly beat up and you may be able to rebuild it but you'll have to decide if the time and cost is worth it. The block however had very very light scratches on the #1 cylinder walls. If you have a hone you could easily run that through it, put a new piston in (there's a whole in the current one) and the short block would be good to go. It comes with the flywheel, clutch, intake manifold, exhaust manifold, injectors, even the turbo. After the small pieces of valve were removed from the turbo it now spins freely. No visible damage was done to the turbo but I'm not going to guarentee anything. There is way more than $150 in usable parts here and if you know a good head shop then there could be a complete engine here. Its all a matter of what you need and how much you want to spend. However I want this out of my garage ASAP so make me an offer.

2000's came with the ATW engine.

 

I'm sorry did I say I think its an aeb motor or it is an aeb motor. The motor came out of my 2000 a4, its not an atw motor. Though I will give it to you, if you run the vin the car originally had an atw motor in it.
