Default Alum MAF

Look like a nice piece. Is this for the Hitachi or Bosch MAF?

Thanks, Dave

Very sharp. Is it a direct replacement for the stock on the 2.7?

Hello JHUFFMAN,

I will find out if this piece would be a direct replacement for the 2.7T MAF Sensor. I assume the stock MAF thats being used on your 2.7T is a Bosch unit?

Talk to you soon,
Roger

I am doing a tune up today, I will take some measurements and get back to you. Aluminum has a low thermal capacity doesn't it? I read somewhere that this guy insulated his maf sensor and its housing and improved the consistency of his readings. He was saying that the heat from the engine radiated through the stock plastic unit and was heating the sensor which gave incorrect readings. I was thinking the aluminum would serve as better insulation from the heat off the engine. Any thoughts?
