For sale is one complete RS6 engine which has bent valves due to a broken cam gear causing the timming belt to loose tension, extent or number of valves damaged is unknown as the engine was replaced with a low kms engine importer for OS, but some Audi guys have stated that due to the small size of the valves and the internals being forged the change of damaged pistons or bent rods is highly unlikely.

As stated the engine comes complete with turbos etc but doesnt include ECU, Harness or Transmission. This engine was removed from my 2004 RS6 sedan and had travelled only 2,700kms at the time of removal.

The engine code is BCY and for serious buyers more info such as complete engine number and vehicle VIN can be supplied. The engine is located in Australia and will be packaged into a crate for shipping anywhere in the world.

So did your warranty cover a replacement engine for your RS6? How did you end up with the busted one?

 

pturbo: no the replacement engine was a low kms import engine, thats how i still have the damaged one
