change audi 2.6 V6 intake manifold onto 2.8 v6 manifold
Hi!
I would like to know, if anyone has changed the 2.6 engine plastic intake manifolds onto aluminum 2.8 manifold?
What kind of changes should be made? Or is suitable without making any changes? How do you deal with the idle valve? 2.6 engine has no place to put it, not like the 2.8 engine.

Coolant leak at O-ring under intake manifold
(replying to ADR_A6) Andy,
Thanks for your encouragement. However, I decided to bite the bullet and properly replace all the O-rings on the coolant manifold. That led to quite an odyssey trying to find new ones in proper sizes, which led to a second coolant leak (through the o-ring for the tube which feeds the water pump), followed by doing it all over again. I'm getting much better at this; nothing like practice to improve one's skills! It also helps to have ratcheting wrenches, which I have now acquired.
