I want to swap out my 1.8T in my 99 A4 for a better engine... what would be the best bet, and could the turbo that I have still be used in this newer engine? what do you think?

 

Best bet is always lower mileage! Yes you can use your turbo...Either of the AEB's (That's you rengine) are good running engines, with strong compression...you have to do 5 sp to 5sp and auto to Auto because the cranks are different. IF you have a five speed you're styling!
