I just want everyone to know that I was scammed on this classified... audi forum classifieds.. Ive been a member for a long time and enjoy everything the site and other enthusiast sites have to offer...although

3 weeks ago my car was hit by a lady running a red..she lied..didnt take liability and I was stuck with fixing my car..trying to be economic I searched through every forum and used car part site to locate parts for my car out of pocket

I recently (2 weeks ago) sent payment to a audiforum member ttop034e

we pm'd back and forth about the details of this black housing halo headlights with a 10K hid kit installed ...we agreed on $225 as a price and I sent him a cashiers check for a speedy shipment..he assured me when the money was delivered they would go out to me..

pm'd him over 10 times in two weeks ..no response... now he has turned off his pm function..and the admin has posted a follow up alert at the top of every forum

I will be leaving this post in every forum and all over line to make sure he doesnt scam another cent from anyone and it will be saved in the database as well

That sucks! Nothing worse than a thief among friends. You basically got hit twice. Once by a car and again by a spineless thief.
Not that this will help now but don't buy from someone unless you can use paypal or at least verify were they live before hand.
If they tell you they own a home you can verify that through public records. Or just ask me and I'll look them up for you.
I meet people on this and other forums and once and a while I'll buy and sell but always use paypal.
If they don't have paypal I don't buy from them. No I don't work for paypal just a big fan.

My friend has brand new H7HID kit for $225 but I don't know what bulbs and there are no headlight included. Just the HID kit.
If you are in SoCal you can pick em up if you are interested.

I know I know ...I always use paypal but he conjured up some story about not being able to use paypal..

I may be interested in that kit if I get my money back... and/or when I get back from a trip abroad..

well it all depends on how you look at it.....today yor money ...tomarrow your car.....you know??? LOL ya that is extrem but he's got the address....if i were him i'd fell free to barge into the foo's place and trash it and and get more than i paid for....the only problem is...im living all the way across the country...

 

WOW! Thats the 2nd - 3rd time I have seen that that person has scamed some one. Mainly on Audizine and I think AudiWorld. I hope you can catch this guy.
