Didn't you sell your GIAC ECU to zerocool AKA DJspiel awhile back. what happened you get another one?

 

yeap, this is the third ECU that i´m selling. by the way, i´m also selling an almost new (2 weeks of use) forge splitter diverter/blow off valve, comes in box, with decals, instructions, hardeware... $155 shipped to the continental us

 

How much are you asking for it? Will it work on the 1999.5? And how can it work for both Manual and Auto???

i´m not sure, if your car is drive by wire, it will works (i think 99.5 are nDBW).. and you can program your ECU for a manual or an automatic with Vag Com.

in other topic, what kind of headlights you have?

 

So you are saying that this will fit a B5 A4 but wont work with nDBW? WTF...

 

How hard is it to do??? (Program it I mean) and I have heard of it reverting back to the original every so often. Is that true??? Do you have a site where i can go and see how to do it?

My headlights are the stock one piece headlights with the CC mod and 6000K HID's

sh#t, forget what i said, i was confused with all that nDBW and DBW stuff.

Heres the answer:

My ECU is for a nDBW (non drive by wire), thus, it will work from 1999.5 and earlier.

It will not work on a 2000 or 2001 because they are DBW.

So, i think its clear now.

Its pretty much easier if you just check your ECU part number, and if it the same, it will work

 

Ok... well I might not get it now. I might be getting a K04 setup here soon (my turbo is taking a crap right now). I will let you know.
