Just like the title says, i am looking for a K04-015 (not a knockoff) need of a rebuild that someone wants to dump for $100 or so.

why not just rebuild a k03 to k04 specs? the housing is nearly identical. the wheels are what causes the difference.

 

talking with the guys at GPOP they agree for my application that i would be better off machining out a dead K04 and installing larger internals rather then using the K03 housing that has been machined out to accept the K04 internals.

This will also give me a slight increase over what i had without having to step up to the GTRS which will require new software and injectors.

the K03 with K04 internals is my last resort.

i have a blown k04-15 Not a knock off that has bent cold side blades and i belive the exhaust house is cracked. email me if you would like pics

no, i have no turbo at this point since my K04 was send back to KKK and approved for warranity but since they have no replacements i am just getting my orignal purchase cost back as a credit instead.

So i need ether a dead K04 (with a good housing) that i can have gpop machine out and install larger internals
OR find a used GTRS hardware kit for sale.
If nether option pans out i might end up just buying a new GTRS kit june or july but i really don't want to have my A4 sitting unusable another two months on top of the 6 i have waited already while i'm paying $500 (payment and insurance) a month to keep the thing, that is $4000 over 8 months for a car that i can't use.
