like the title says I want to trade my APR R1 dv with a life time warrenty for a forge 004. if any one is interested drop me a pm. I would also sell it 120 shipped it has a lifetime warrenty.

The APR R1 is a diverter valve where as the forge 004 is a blow off valve. The are two completly different things. The APR R1 is a great DV because it has the warrenty and requires no maitnence due to it being a sealed unit. I am just wanting to run a BOV.

 

What if that diaphram in the R1 breaks? I guess that's when the lifetime warranty kicks in. I am looking for a new diverter valve.
They all are a little pricey. I might be interested if I can't find another used one for a little less money.

Question: What is a diode Mod?

 

I sold mine this morning. The diode mod is way to turn up you boost to 16-17 psi on a stock FPR and 20 psi with a 4 bar FPR. run throught the seach and you will find plenty of info on it.

 

Thanks for the info. I did a search and found out that the diode mod does not work on the 225 TT's

 

All Forge products, including the 004, have a lifetime warranty.

 

correction: it DOES.

the first successful 225 TT diode mod happened not too long ago (1~2 weeks ago). there's a FAQ from the person who did it in the TT Section... just gotta look for it.
