This tailgate is a one off to fit a '97-2003 (8L) shape but has the look of the later Audi and VAG rear ends, i.e: shadowed and angled number plate recese.

The tailgate also has the 'line' all the way along its width, looks absolute factory, I had it made to bring the pre '03 shape upto date and remove the bulbus standard look, and is made using a newer tailgate (8p) and cut and welded/fabricated to make perfect. It has only the lightest skim and was almost perfect in the steel.

Currently painted in VAG gloss black (ly9b) but can easily be painted, my local winscreen chap quoted £40 to remove glass from old tailgate and fit to this.

Includes solonoid and is attached to latch ready to fit, costs lots to get to this standard, would of been fitted however car now sold.
