I have decided to go with a different sub as this one is just to powerful. It may sound kind of funny but I am not into this kind of hard hitting bass, besides the fact that the dual 4ohm voice coil makes the JL 500/1 amp draw to much current from my electrical system as the lights are dimming when the bass hits. I am going to get something a little more tamed for everyday use as I am not into SPL type bass and this thing definitely hits. I got the sub for $140.00 and I will be selling it for the same price.
