Removed from an 01 coupe. Works completely fine BUT you will need access to vagcom.

Heres the story:
I played around with a cheap cable and the free version of the software. That was a headache as Im sure some are aware. I was trying to get the comfort features to work. windows down with remote, both doors unlock on click, etc. I finally got the windows to roll down with the remote and got excited that I got it right. Not paying attention a week later I noticed my door locks didn't work anymore on the inside switch (remote worked fine) so I figured it was went bad and I bought another one. Had the code professionally changed on the new one, it did the exact same thing! Took it back and the shop fought for like 30 mins trying to figure out the right numbers to put in and it finally worked perfectly. Long story short, the original one wasn't broken, the wrong code was put in. I am positive the module works fine. No water damage whatsoever or anything. You just need to change the code to the right number.
