FS: 2002 TT Instrument CLUSTER
UP for sale is a instrument cluster from a
2002 Audi TT 1.8 turbo 225hp with a manual transmission.The part number is 8n1 920 980. The donor car only had 44k miles on it, so this should give a good few years trouble free service by which time your probably ready for the new model TT.
Im selling my car (2001 180 fwd) so no longer amgoing to replace the cluster which was acting up (lazy fuel guage). After speaking with 2bennet in davis, ca this part could potentially be installed in a 180 from a dealer, but it needs to be recoded to overcome the immobilser. Depending whether your local dealer is flexible enough to do this - or steadfastedly wants you to install a new one through them ie approx 1000 dollars. It would probably be easier to just install this in a 225.
If your guage is starting to act up this is good part to have handy, since the car wont start once the cluster completely fails.
