Yeah, you could be right. I never tried using it, so i have no clue. I should pfobably just trash it.

 

An Audi service center should be able to get you the radio code if you give them the serial number. You should check with them at least before junking.

You used to be able to get the code before, but Audi switched their dealers over to the GeKo system which requires original VIN and the car get's plugged in to a VAS 5051 to talk to Germany. You can't just call up for a number like it was done before.

 

The dealership can get the code but they charge an hour labor. This seems too good to be true.
