Since this is pionieer you know its good, you can control your ipod from the deck, when i used this my ipod was hidden in my glove box, and i never once had to touch it. all i know is that its not compatable with the iphone. it will charge it but it says somthing about need to be in airplaine mode to use. other than that this item is brand new, i had it in my old car for about 4 or 5 months before i got my audi.
