have a gold colored 1998 Audi A4 non-Quattro that is in need of some TLC. This car had 122,000 miles when purchased, and currenlty has 147,000. The miles are mostly highway miles from my work commute. I have owned this car for two and a half years, and it has been an amazing vehicle. I am moving out of the country, and I do not have the financial resources to repair. The car is sitting in my driveway, and has not moved in two months. THIS CAR NEEDS SOME WORK before it will work properly. It had a slight coolant leak that will drain the coolant reservoir when the engine heats up. I have had it looked at, and the general consensus is a worn cylinder head gasket. This part typically sells for less than a hundred dollars. The car was running fine before I noticed the drained reservoir, and it hasn't been run since. This car is a perfect project car for any enthusiast, or with a little work, the perfect first car for any driver. Now a little about the car.

The Good: AC, Power Steering, Locks, Windows, Tilt Wheel, Multi-Disc Changer with AM/FM Stereo, Dual Front Airbags, ABS (4-Wheel), Black Leather Interior, Power Driver Seat, Sunroof, and Standard Wheels. The car's exterior and interior are overall in good shape.

The Bad: The driver'd seat leather is worn and cracked. The left-front CV joint will eventually need to be replaced (Under $200). The battery will need a charge, but not likely needing replacement. The rear tires are worn, but still have some tread life. Sometimes the sunroof will adjust without manually changing it's position, but it can be set back manually with a ****.

I have replaced the following during ownership: Front Control Arms, Ignition Control Switch, and Ignition Coil Pack, Thermostat, and Front Tires.

I would love to keep this car, but I unfortunately can't. I am listing the car at $1200, but I will take the best offer. Must be sold before May 1st, 2009.
