I am trying to sell my 2001 Audi A6 2.8. It has 130k miles on the engine but the valve bent. The car has a super clean interior and great exterior. I want to sell it to someone that can put a new engine in there or part the car out.

The car is in South Florida so make me some offers as I am inclined to sell it ASAP. It has a clean title.

You might give us some idea as to what you would like to get out of it. What is the extent of the bent valve, what has it done to the motor? Does it run? Some details would be nice if you really want to sell it!

 

So here are the details of what needs to be replaced.

Timing chain tensioner
Replace cam shaft chain tensioner cylinders 1-3

I don't know what it's worth that's why I turned to this forum. I am hoping for fair market value. Idk maybe $2500?

 

no offense.... those sell for that much in running condition... either part it out to make a lot of money or you might be looking at selling this car for somewhere between $500 and may be up to $1000
