I have a similiar car with more miles on it. A car lot recently told me that it's worth about 9k trade in. I am furious about it. Sorry to interrupt your thread...

 

The car lot which told you your car is worth only $9,000 is fishing for a deal (at your expense); the 2007 A4 in this thread should be worth a tad under $16,000 as a trade-in and a tad under $18,000 as a private party sale.

 

Their justification is a 2007 A4 3.2 at auction goes for 11k with 90k miles so they aren't going to give me anymore than 9k. Again sorry to threadjack but car dealers infuriate me.
