Selling my baby, upgrading to an S4... I'll get some pics as soon as I can..
1997 Audi A4 1.8t Quattro, 5sp manual trans. Almost 164k mi. Silver exterior w/ black cloth sport seats. Meticulously maintained, owned by Audi/VW tech. (me) Needs nothing, very dependable and fun to drive. I was going to swap in a entire S4 drivetrain- 6sp, differential, axles, brakes, 2.7t, black leather seats, EVERYTHING. I even bought an S4 parts car. But it's just too much work. Life is too short. Whoever buys this car can purchase any spare parts from the S4 cheap, if you want.

Maintenance/replaced OEM parts list:
-New head/valves, timing belt, tensioner, rollers, waterpump, thermostat, coolant flush at 100k mi
-New oil cooler and gasket
-coolant temp sender
-coolant flange and plugs, seals, another coolant change at ~145k
-recent OEM oversized battery
-710n divertor valve
-Valve cover and cam chain tensioner gaskets replaced
-one ignition coil and spark plug "wire" or insulator
-Updated MAF
-N75 boost regulation solenoid
-fuel filter at~150k
-both rear wheel bearings replaced at ~125k
-new lower door mouldings
-A/C electric fan
-wiper linkage
-ignition switch
-recent pollen filter
-all fluids/ filters changed regularly- Oil, coolant, brake fluid, trans, differentials...
-upgraded to factory sport suspension[eek]. New tie rod ends, four wheel alignment- raised toe adjusted[up]
-newer mirror glass

Upgrades:
-new K04-015 turbo, oil supply line replaced and updated heatsheild installed. GIAC PC-16 ecu/software upgrade with Bosch red top injectors and Tyrolsport adjustable FPR. Racetech FMIC intalled all at ~150k
-Neuspeed stainless exhaust with stainless band clamps and Tectonics Tuning down pipe
-NewSouth Power Gasket Plus phenolic intake spacer
-Custom electric fan/ fan clutch and pully delete. New serpentine belt, SPAL 19" puller fan, Variable speed fan controller with manual on and A/C on switch.
-TT/A8 front brake upgrade, front pads less than 1k mi old.
-S4 vented rear rotor, aluminum caliper, and bigger splash sheild upgrade about half life left on pads, rotors were brand new.
-One peice OEM Valeo headlights and OEM HID Valeo ballasts/ ignitors, 35w philips capsules, added custom DRL/ city lights- on with ign, off with park brake and/or headlights
-Hella Micro DE projector fogs w/ custom clear lenses for sharper cutoff.
-wiring harness and relays added for low, high and fogs for max voltage/ brightness
-01a4/s4 all red tail lights
-clear side repeaters with custom superflux LEDs integrated
-LED ambient lights integrated into overhead lighting console
-LED ambient lights integrated into interior door pull handles
-01 lock control module- the 97 one doesn't flash the lights twice when unlocking[rolleyes] Antenna wire/ range extension mod
-one touch rear window mod
-switchblade remote- window/ sunroof remote control
-bright aluminum belt line trim, custom aluminum radio, switches, A/C control, and ashtray/ lighter trims
-aluminum gauge rings
-99.5-01 chrome door latches
-99.5-01 leatherette e-brake handle/ cover
-belly pan extensions, rain splash sheilds, 2.8 belly pan
-99.5-01 front grille with black painted surround
-02-up style floor mat anchors installed in carpet front/ rear
-undercoating
-custom sound system- Sony headunit CD player, sat radio ready, remote, etc. Boston Acoustics rally component speakers. US Acoustics 75x4 amplifier custom mounted under rear shelf. Kenwood bass tube thingy... came with the car, I might keep it for my beater Jetta
-Dynamat in doors, floor pan
Flaws:
-cig burn in drivers seat, slight wear on side bolsters. Nothing unusual for a 10 yr old car with 163k mi
-drivers door and drivers rear door fabric starting to unstick. I might look into this being repaired as well.
-a few dings, overall great shape for its age.
-rear bumper has marks, hood is peeling. Hood has been repainted, but it could look better. I might get it repainted if it doesn't sell within the next month or so.

I'm well into the tuning world, and actually just selling a 91 Nissan 240sx this weekend to make way for a new Audi. Well, not new but "NEW" to me

Also, if there are any "faults" in this car, please be upfront so our business can run smoothly. As you know just as well as I do, neither of us want to get screwed.
