Hey everyone.
I wanted to get some feedback on what to do here.
I'm going to look at a 2000 A$ 1.8T Quattro Manual with about 93,000 miles on it. 1 owner clean and nice. Carfax is super clean.
The dealership where it's being sold at is asking $8000. I wanted to know if you have any tips to get this car a little cheaper. I have already thought about the Timing belt and water pump that needs to be changed if it hasn't yet. But is there anything else?
I've been really patient with looking for the right car for the right price and THIS should be the one.

Control arms are no longer under warranty. The bushings go bad. A full set will run over $500 + install if they haven't been replaced. Wheel bearings seem to go bad around 100k. The rears typically go bad first.
