54,475 miles!!! 1 owner, garaged, fully serviced at a local Audi dealership. Just inspected this week good till 08! This car isbeing sold to pay for a 07 A4 Avant 2.0T! This car has never failed and has an amazing cold start! it was used as a daily driver with low miles per day. only driven local except for the once a week trip into the city!!! just an FYI as I've been doing lots of research on 98-01 2.8 Avants:

Edmunds True market value: 13K private party value, 11.6 trade-in (with mileage adjustment)... Unfortunately you don't see many here (and worse yet, yours is out of my price range [:@]).

What services have you done? It's getting close to a timing belt change and if you have already done that, it would be a good selling point. Control arms? Brakes? What is the oil change record? Those of us who have done our DD will be looking for these factors when considering an Audi.

I am sure that all of the parts in consideration are in more than good condition! To ease your concerns I will try and lower the price as well as make sure my mechanic at Audi of Princeton does a full service to check if anything needs to be replaced or serviced . I just put on rear tire almost two weeks ago and I had brake rotors and pads done a month or two ago! So far this car has been in the best of condition... No BS... this car is as solid as you will find it. I am also going to do a full detail before I sell it. I am going to do a full wash,wax, and buffing, vacum and condition the interior...especially the leather, as well as celan the engine bay to the best of my ability as well as make it almost to the condition that it was in when I came across it in 2001! By the way... state your price and I will see what I can do! I can also send you pictures if you would like...

I would buy it, but that's about 4.5k more than any '01 2.8 avant I have seen.

If you go down to like 9 or 10k, (Which is a little less than DEALERS charge here) I would be VERY interested.

 

There is no way I would go any lower than 13,500! This car was worth more than trade in value when offered up for a trade-in atthe time of the othercars purchase. And why would I want to go lower than what a dealership offers! any car that isn't certified preownd from a delaership is trouble. The only reason why this car was out of cretified Preowned was because it is out of the price range. I was told by a few good salesmen buddies said that this car def would have been if it were not out of year range.

 

you'd want to go lower so that you can sell it!
