Default FS: 2003 Audi A6 2.7t 6-Spd Manual 59K Miles! Bose, Xenon, etc...

We've just sold our low mileage 2004 Allroad 6-Speed Manual and are now selling our Ming Blue/Gray 2003 A6 2.7t 6-Spd Manual with LOW miles (59,000). A little back story... I wanted to purchase a Santorin Blue 2001/2002 S4 6-Spd but, S4's (and 2004 STI's which was my other choice), happen to be stolen so much in the NY/NJ area that I decided against going that route and set my sights on a vehicle that I didn't have to worry about so much parking at a mall or having someone following me home to steal it while I sleep. As most of you know, the A6 2.7t happens to have the same engine and transmission as the S4 I wanted to buy except in an A6 body (doubt the thieves would've let me keep an S4 for this long by the way!). As luck would have it, Ming Blue is basically a shade off Santorin Blue, so I found and purchased this fine example. I am the 2nd owner and purchased it as an Audi Certified vehicle a little over 3 years back.

It has Reverse Park Sensing, Premium pkg, Bose Sound, Xenon Headlights, etc. and is in cosmetically and mechanically very good condition. Replaced rear brake pads and rotors on 4/22/10. It has never been modified in any way but, $2K in mods on this car goes a LONG way if you want to. We are located in Northern New Jersey. Offered at $11,900 and worth every penny. No accident history!

My number is 646-732-6564 and my email address is SixStringGuitars@aol.com.

Contact me for more info. Also, our cars have low mileage because we have 4+ cars at all times and only 2 drivers for them. Selling this car because we're preferring to drive our Bimmers at this point.

Motivated seller. I'm buying the lease out on one of our cars next month and want to finalize this sale by then. Make me a reasonable offer!

Not trying to low-ball or anything, but how about 6k? I am a broke grad student, and my other car, an 04 GTO with 900hp, just blew another motor. So now that is going in the garage and I need something a little more reliable. PM me if you want.

$11K is the bottom line. I just had the rear brakes down today by a BMW tech (where I work). There are tons of 90K+ mile 2.8's/3.0's out there for the buyers out there looking for A6's well under $10K. This car is just not one of those. Thanks!

What is your reference point in saying that it seems too high?

I'll put it to you this way guys, Manheim MMR for my car in average condition with 59,500 miles is $8,925 (not including mandatory fees that are incurred) so it would cost over $9K if you're a dealer and I GUARANTEE the previous owner wouldn't have been too concientious about the mechanical condition of their vehicle before they traded it in! Retail value on my car is $12,700. Like I said, a 100k mile car for $8K no problem, have at it but, that is not MY car. I'll get $9K in trade in PLUS the tax savings from a non Audi dealer where I work. So why would I sell it to somebody for less than trade in value? You wouldn't...
