FS: Crispy B5 5spd
Several of you might know this car, since I bought it off a member on here.
The basics are: 96, Quatro, 5spd, 2.8L.
It had 122K miles on it when the HVAC controls caught fire. Yup. FIRE. The damage isn't that bad I don't think, I just don't have the time to make the repairs. As you can see in the pics, the HVAC controls and the radio need... attention. Most of the car works. The xenon head lights, tail lights, and engine all work great. The turn signals kinda work, but there is a constant tone from the center stack that changes when you indicate left or right. That's about it for the issues from the fire.
The car has some suspension upgrades and is generally in very good shape. It has Bilstein shocks and H&R? lowering springs. All of the front suspension linkages were replaced prior to my purchase. Not an upgrade, but it has the upgraded A8? front brakes. The leather is in great shape with only some minor wear marks in some spots.
I'm in Northern NJ and will deliver if you are local. It will make a great parts car or swap in a non melted HVAC/radio and you will be good to go.
I would like $1000 for it, but I'm open to reasonable offers. I'm not really interested in parting it out. Make me a good offer and you can part it out yourself.
