Just so everyone is clear I'm not blaming it on Rafiky87. There were no signs of a problem when I picked up the car and I'm fairly certain he didn't know this was going to happen. However since its in the shop getting everything fixed maybe now is the time to throw a bigger turbo on it and really have some fun :-P
The motor was definitely not built by a professional. Just got done installing the new motor and turbo. Half of the electrical connectors were broke or had bent pins inside of them (kinda surprised the car was running as good as it was). The reason the engine died was it dropped a valve which did a pretty good number on the #1 cylinder (I'll post pictures of the spark plug). If anyone wants a core motor to build for a big turbo let me know. The head is rebuildable and the bottom end should be alright. Needs pistons, valve job, and bearings.
