Parting out:
Salvage title car for parts. Unless you can do the work yourself, I think its a better parts car. If you have to pay a shop to do everything, I think you'd end up with too much money in it.
This car is a 2001 A6 quattro 4.2 V8. But the brakes, interior, suspension, ground FX, & exhaust were all swapped in from a wrecked 2003 RS6. It has the stock low mileage 300-320 HP naturally aspirated 4.2 liter V8. NOT the twin turbo RS6 V8... sorry. Currently around 58,xxx miles. It had a salvage title since 27,000 miles when I got it. I got smashed into a couple weeks ago and probably won't have it repaired.
2001 A6 Quattro 4.2 Liter V8 Automatic RS6 S6
-58,xxx miles Metalic white pearl clearcoat.
-Black leather interior with embossed RS6 seats.
-Black suede Headliner
-Bose stereo w/6 disc in-dash changer.
-Carbon Fiber Trim
-Audi Remanufactured Transmission at 27,000 miles
-RS6 Wheels (curb rash)
-RS6 front grill & bumper
-RS6 rear bumper
-RS6 exhaust -RS6 spoiler
-RS6 suspension (lowered)
-RS6 brakes. (8 piston fronts, The best feature and worth a couple grand on their own, they are awesome)
Needs:
-Only some of the seat motors work. It will need 3 or 4 new ones (salvage yard) as well as a memory module. I never fixed it because I manually adjusted the seat where I like it.
-The keyless needs to be reprogrammed or has a dead battery. It won't unlock the doors.
-The car shifts like normal but the tiptronic mode is not hooked up. The steering wheel had paddle shifters on it but it is from a 2003 RS6 and the car was a 2001 A6. I haven't tried making them work yet.
-Needs a CV joint in the front
-Some scratches where someone pulled off the RS6 emblem on the trunk.
- Cracked front valence. The center lower portion is broken off. I have the piece for possible repair. 1 missing grill piece.
-Passengers side rocker valence has some cracks
-Damage on rear door, and rear quarter. (in picture)
-straight but deeply scratched rims.
-Check engine light is on. emmissions problem
-Airbag light because the seat computer is missing. (airbag in the seat)

Let me know if you ever reconsider parting it out or making some cash by swapping out some of your parts for some of mine. I'd be willing to do all the work myself so you don't have to do anything, just take the cash.
I'm interested in the carbon fiber trim, the brakes, and possibly the wheels.
Like I said, I'll do all the manual labor, give you the $$$ for the parts, and put my parts in the place so you still have a completely functioning car.
