J3 Racings S4
Its finally time to sell it, and time to move on to something new. Original owner since 10/2000. Car is a 2001 special order black, w black and blue inserts, fully optioned, sport pkg. etc. This car is immaculate. There is way to much to list but the basics are everything APR ever sold for it, uuc shifter, bbs ch wheels. h&r coilovers, brembo big reds front and back and brembo e-brake, carbon rs4 engine covers. Stage 3 was installed around 5,000mi and brakes about 200mi ago. Car only has 12,500 miles and been in climate controlled garage, also car has only been in rain one time and was pressured washed on a car lift for about 2 hrs. I'm sure I am forgetting some stuff, but car is very fast, check out goapr.com and go to the 2.7 ko4 kit to look at dyno report. Serious inquiries only. Asking in the 40s, will consider trades for mustang saleen, or anything else interesting. Also there are some old pics on www.j3motorsport.com website. Any serious inquiries shoot me a e-mail and I can send a cd w/ pics

RE: J3 Racings S4
you are aware that mods dont give the car that much more value if any at all.. 12.5k miles is nice. but not for 40k. maybe low 20s

RE: J3 Racings S4
Take a 42k car then add 20k in upgrades, and then sell for 20k duh. Lets say you spend 20k on you car, and then another 20k in upgrades would you sell it for 20k. Why do you think unique autosport or west coast customs is in business, not to loose money, or maybee your theory just applies to all the homebrew audis out there that are put togther in garages. But thanks for your expert opinion! Oh bye the way go find a low milage clean s4 in the the 20s then drop over 10k in apr upgrades and brembo f&r brakes, plus extras and see what you will have spent then.

Canaan....
Just because you aftermarket mod your car, you will not get it all back. Simple as that. When you build a car, you are going to take a loss. Even if it has low miles, he needs to ask about half of that price to get anyone interested.
Also, those people mod cars for people, not sell them.... It doesnt matter how well it is put together.... You depreciate in value. Simple as that. Maybe you may want to consider a different hobby if you do not understand this.

i have to agree......... if you want 40k, sell the parts off, then sell the car for 20
there you go, i used to sell cars, and as stated above mods don't appretiate the value of a car
if a nice clean s4 is gonig for lets say 18-22
then a nice moded s4, might get 3k more........ that is if you can find the sucker to buy it
20k in mods mean nothing to most people, an updated timing belt does though..........
i would drop your price or go to zine where they spend 40k on cars for no reason

Interesting, a friend of mine sold one with 9k mi. for 38k with dirty paint recently. I guess most people on the audi forum dont have that kind of money to spent on a toy! I guess I should just post it somewhere else, sorry for getting everybody upset.

Lets see. Pay 18k for a 50K s4 or pay the money for one that has 35k less and 20k in mods done already to go for 20k more? Hmm pretty easy descision and a simple observation that you guys are a bunch of broke dicks. I would say 38k is a little more of a reasonable price though.

RE: J3 Racings S4
i put stickers on my car...that's not modding it. Professional upgrading does add value, especially when done right. You just have to find the right buyer. don't hate on his thread, go start a cult or something, hate on whatever you want then.
