Hey guys, Im just curious what my car is worth to other people. I have a 97 a4 w/ 69k miles on it. It is a 5spd manual quattro, with a new transmission.(guy I bought from has reciept) It is midnight blue w/ the 16" five spoke audi alloys. The body is in great condition, with good paint. It has a gt28r turbo kit with approx 215whp/215wtq. It has an aftermarket clutch, a boost guage, greddy boost controller, adjustable fuel regulator, remus cat back, flashed stage II ecu and new interior speakers all the way around with a sony head unit. it has brand new toyo proxes tires. I ended up talking the guy down to 5000$. Just curious what you guys would pay for it. Thanks.

I dont think you can flash a 97 ecu only works on 01 and up

 

so how much you wanna sell it for i might be interested.... did you say you bought the car for 5k?

 

I think its a good price. ive seen cars with way more miles for that price. go to www.kbb.com to see whats the regular value of the car with out the mods. then you can estimate more or less how much more it would be with mods.

 

private party value is 8200....retail is 10900....and with the upgrades, I would say add a grand......so I think that I got a good deal.

As far as the ecu flash, I only know that the guy before me bought the kit from garrett. The kit comes for 2200 dollars with the turbo, fuel regulator, a couple of little pieces and the remapping of your ecu......and the kit is for 97-01. That is what I found out through garrett.

 

if you want to resell it, it's worth more without the mods. they would actually depreciate the value of the car...sounds like a good deal either way though
