Modded A6 2.7T for sale
I'm entertaining the idea of parting with my Audi for something that can pull a boat. It's a 2001 A6 2.7T in a 6 spd manual. It's black, grey leather interior, fullwinter package (ski boot, front an rear heated seats), 17" wheels, bose stereo, sport pack, etc. etc. There's 137K on it, but pretty much entirely highway (I put 40K on the first year and haven't hesitated since).
Here's where it's a bit different from the average 2.7T:
K04 twin turbo kit
Stasis hardened transmission and "high bias" center differential (http://www.stasisengineering.com/Cat...=58&PID=95)
RS4 clutch
lightweight flywheel
APR Stage 1 (93 octane) engine program
Piston style diverter valves
cross drilled front rotors
Opened downpipes (pre-cats can otherwise cook turbo bearings)
APR claimed their software dynoed 318 hp and 382 lb-ft of torque before additional mods. I would guess that after the K04 upgrade and opened downpipes, it runs in the neighborhood of 350 hp and 400 lb-ft, just a guess, probably not far off.
You can either enjoy the huge additional power from the mods, or change the program back to stock for ~$100, in which case those toughened parts should last forever. Its been meticulously maitained since my mechanic is a friend. I understand that due to the mods it'll take a special kind of buyer, so I haven't quite decided on a fair price. If you're interested, shoot me an e-mail at bultjeff@hotmail.com and I can send pictures.
Here's some pics from my mechanic's shop of the mod job if you're curious:
