It actually wasn't Andyrew who posted the car; he must've happened upon it on ebay. Might want to edit your post.

Thanks for your concern, though.
Lol my bad... good call!

Thanks for your concern, but I'm not quite sure I understand the first part of your message. I didn't email Ebay, if that's what you're implying.

This car was also listed on eBay (Item #: 170075379947). Why was it removed by eBay? I received an e-mail from eBay that said that ALL of your auctions were removed actually. Here is a quote from the e-mail I received from eBay:

"The following is a notice from eBay Trust & Safety regarding:

Item Number - 170075379947

Item Title - Audi : A4

Our records show that you were a bidder or buyer of one or more of this seller's items. We recently removed this seller's active listings and suspended the seller's trading privileges. Due to privacy concerns we cannot share further details about this seller."

Please elaborate on the reason for eBay removing your auctions.

Hmm I took it from your angry post that you probably contacted ebay saying that the car was misrepresented... Sorry

Couple possibilities: Seller got smart, Seller sold car, Someone else contacted ebay, Or Aliens are taking over..

My post was not in anger. It was more of a potential buyer seeking more information about the auction where I found the car. But after reading the post above it sounds like it was not meant to be anyway. Although your notion that aliens taking over may also be the cause. In addition to that, I did not contact eBay but thanks for assuming that.

That's what I figured, but I wasn't sure either. I really didn't think to contact Ebay...I would have, though. Don't they have some kind of guarantee protecting the buyer from fraudulent misrepresentation?

They say that they do but good luck getting it. I had a problem before with a set of rims that were misrepresented. I was informed from people at both eBay PayPal (aka ScamPal) that they will only help the buyer in a situation where the buyer did not receive the product. So if the seller sends you a box of confetti, you are hosed.
