Testing Waters: 1998 A4 2.8 Quattro 66k
Hello Everyone,
I'm new to the forum, but I live in northern Jersey, I own a Silver exterior, tan leather interior, '98 Quattro, 5-speed m/t, all the standard features, i just replaced the hub-bearing, rear breaks, and the fan this previous weekend. The car has 66,4xx miles on it right now. The car is mechanically sound after the maintenance. However, there are a few exterior/interior blemishes. First, there is a small sized dent on the passenger side door which came with the car when i bought it, and there is a scratch on the paint on the drivers side from another car opening their door into mine. However, I would consider getting these two flaws fixed before the sale. There are also two small marks on the drivers side above the window from trying to ash a cigarette. I also forgot to mention that the 6-disk cd changer is out of order and the dealership mentioned something like $400 but you can get an aftermarket one for $300ish. The back-right speaker is also blown, which i plan on getting fixed.
I was just curious what interest my car generates and how much I would be able to get for it. I would post pictures but I can't find my camera right now
Thanks

I don't know much about selling cars (well, that's not entirely true), but I would think that an ad that only describes the negative things about a car, absolutely ZERO pictures, might not do as well as something similar with some details....but maybe I'm crazy...
