I'm trying to decide if I should just get another car. I'm in Utah.

It has 130,000 miles. Newer turbo. My son drove it after it broke a coolant line until it wouldn't run anyone more.

Best case scenario; Needs a new head. Was quoted $1300 for that.
Worst case; Needs new engine. Was quoted $3400 for that. (rebuilt w/ warranty)

I really want a VW TDI. I'm wondering how much I could get for this A4 to put towards the TDI.

 

i think like $5k if everything was in working order.. but in the condition it is now possible $2k.. dont quote me though im not tooo familiar with 1.8Ts.. my insurance gave me $6k for my 6cyl and it only had 106xxx miles on it
