My armrest latch has broken off (just like so many other's have...) and I want to find some type of replacement. I would be perfectly OK with just getting rid of the armrest and leave the center console area.

I will never use those cupholders, and resting my arm on the armrest makes me sit with really bad posture. Is there a way to either replace this with a less-intrusive option or just remove it entirely without leaving a gaping hole in my car?
