Question LOOKING FOR: Audi A6 Turbo or Twin Turbo

I'm looking for something turbo or twin turbo and manual. I'm very new to these, I like the A6. I have about $8000 to spend. I would like some bolt on's. Let me know what you have. Thanks

for 8k your better off getting a b6 a4 1.8t.... cause the a6 2.7t is going to be run down for 8k.... and they are bi-turbo cars, not single turbo cars

I don't think you can get an A6 in a manual, but I could be mistaken... B5 S4 is what I would go with, but 8K is on the lower (more run down as Kraut stated) end of the scale... but, it has the 2.7 twin (bi-) turbo...

Like I said I'm new I found a S4 6 speed, 78,000 miles for $7300. Loaded. Very nice looking. I have never drivin one tho, how are they compared to a WRX ? Are they quick? And how are they for bolt on stuff, exhaust, DV, intake ?

What year? If it's got the 2.7T, then a simple chip and new DVs will put you on the same playing field as a WRX I believe... A couple grand worth of mods, and you're pushing near 500HP...

Where did you find this S4? If you don't want it, I may...

The 2.7T is a good platform to build on, if you have the time and money to do so...

the main problem with the 2.7t cars is there is very little to no room to work on them.... if a turbo goes south you have to drop the motor out of the car

as brad said with very little work you are at wrx+ power..... now with say 10K+ you are looking at massive power(that is saying you do all the work yourself)

as for a b5 or b6 a4..... with about 20k you are at about 600-800chp...... for both cars you will need supporting mods and i would defiantly do maintenance stuff first before getting into the power mods
