WTB: 1.8t or 2.7t Engine with Manual Transmission
I'm going to need a new transmission within the year. The car is a 1996 B5 A4 2.8 12V Quattro.
So, I'm considering an engine and transmission swap to a 1.8T or 2.7T with manual transmission.
I'm thinking maybe if I can find a totaled car with everything I'd need to pull out for the swap would be ideal, but budget is always tight for me.
This is not an immediate need, just something I am looking to do down the road at some point, if the price was totally right, and I could do the work myself to do the whole engine and transmission swap for less than I can pay someone else to put in a new transmission.
So, please let me know if you know of anything that might work.
