i came across some nice 19' rs6 replicas made by eurotech wheels...and the size of the wheels are 19x8.5...i have a 2000 audi 2.7t...and when i spoke to the rep on the phone, he assured me that the best size tire to go with would be 245/35/19...he also mentioned that this size tire with these wheels would absolutely have no rubbing issues on my car since he has tested this combo on 2.7ts...i have done my research on wheel and tire websites and it looks like the recommended tire size for these wheels would be 235/35/19.

My question is if i do buy the 245/35/19 combo...will i have any rubbing issues...also i would rather not use any spacers and these wheels will be going on stock suspension...thanks

 

you will rub with the 245's
235's mat still rub but that depends on your susp. and how you drive.

 

I bought a 1999 A6 Avant for my wife with those wheels. I'm not sure if they are 8.0 or 8.5. The offset is 35 and the tires are 245/35-19's. No spacers and no rubbing.
