they were made for either. The weight difference in the frontbtwn the 2.8 A4 and the 2.7T S4 is minimal, therefore they are marketed for both car applications. here is a link to the springs on purems: http://www.purems.com/products/product.php/II=275 I do not have pictures of them on my car unfortunately, never took pics of the car while it was dropped. not sure of the spring rate, not sure if 18's would clear I had the stock alloys on, and I had the car sitting so low you couldnt stick a horizontal finger in between the tire and fender but never ever had any rubbing issues, they rode like a dream...too bad the rest of the car didn't ride like that. you could probably find the spring rates on H&Rs website.

is my B5 1.8T too light for these? I'm looking to drop it a good 1.5+ inches
