i have a 97 A4 and i hear this knocking sound from my front right wheel everytime i hit a bump or pot hole!! a mechanic told me it was the ball joint so i had both control arms replaced but it won't go away. Now another mechanic said it might be the shock thats loose somewhere but he's charging me way too much to look at it, has anyone ever had a similar problem, can anyone help with suggestions pls?? it simply knocks when i hit a bump!!
