Have you heard credible sounding rumors that Audi may be considering bringing the next generation A1 or A2 to NA? The company will need help meeting FE standards and others are taking long looks at the 'little' buggies.

While I wouldn't seriously consider the "Smart", a baby Audi or Ford KA would be tempting to putter round town in, provided it were equipped with a diesel engine and dual clutch transmission.

Since the KA is built on the same platform as the Fiat 500, it wouldn't cost much to get it certified...
