I've got A2 1.2TDI for 4 years now, 120,000km (74,500miles). On average it gets 3.2l/100km (73mpg). My best figure on 200km trip (125miles on asphalt and gravel) has been 2.4l/100km (98mpg).

 

no way really, that some sweet numbers.

 

The A2 is a comfortable ride, economical and they are very popular here in Germany. Great family vehicle

Nice. We could all use some numbers like that these days.

I saw an H3 the other day. They keep getting smaller and smaller. By the time they get to the H12, it should be looking about like this with those numbers.

 

I'm going to italy in 2 weeks I'm gonna try to convince someone to take for for a ride in the A2

 

looks tiny.. but damn that mileage is almost tempting.. and if they ever seriously came out with a RS2 I might be dumb/crazy enough to consider.. just imagine that with the 2.0T in it!!!!

 

I was just thinking the same thing. That is a sweet little car! If only the US could get serious about fuel efficiency...

 

The A2 with 1.3 diesel gets 0 to 60 in less that 10seconds, with 2.0T and tuned O to 60 would be like 2 seconds.
