Default roof rack

I would like to put a roof rack on my A2. Does anyone know if those available thru Audi or Thule will work on A2's with Opensky? Thanks

I would like to do this too, but haven't found anything on the internet that is compatible with open sky. I could do with a bicycle rack too, but can't see anything. I find it hard to believe there is no product that is compatible!

Anyone have any other suggestions?

Cheers,

I enquired with an Audi dealer to see if it was possible to install a roof rack with the 'open sky' sun roof and they told me no.

If you don't have an 'open sky' it is possible to use a Thule system. If you are based in the UK, go to www.halfords.co.uk where you can check the required parts to install the roof rack.

Hope that helps.

Cheers for that advice.

Apparently the glass roof is structurally not strong enough to support a roof load. However, I have a suspicion that the rack fits fine, and you might just be able to get away with it, as long as you dont carry a really heavy weight. I just want to carry a bicycle!
