I will try to keep as short as possible. Had the car about 1 year. Had motor replaced 3 months ago. Will be driving and everything in the dash goes black. No lights, tach, spedo, Ac, ect. The only thing that dosent go out is the aftermarket radio. Will run for a few minutes and then the cars dies. Wait about 10 minutes will run fine after that. Happened 1 time than didn't happen for about 2 months after that. Than last week to times.

The first time I had Charista running using the car scanner app. I didnt close the app before I remover Charista. Dont really think this was the problem.

Any help greatly apreicated. dont know if anyone has ever had this problem.

So 105 views and nothing. I have never been on such a dead forum in my life. Can someone at least point me to a more active place where I might find a answer?

This is my first foreign car I love it when it runs right but am tired of the problems. Cant get it sorted soon just going to sell it and get another Hemi.

 

I don't know what Charista is,but Ross-Tech's Vag-com is the factory scan tool. You might have to go to a dealer for diagnosis if you can't find someone in your area with the home user version (about $200 and very useful).

 

I will never go to my local dealership again. It was at a reputable shop with no codes found and of course they couldn't duplicate the problem. I don't know what they used to check codes. Weatger it was just a scanner or the Factory one. Are you going to tell me the Vag-com can find something another scanner cant?
