Hi,

If anyone can help, i have a A3 1.8T, my engine has just ceased. Either Oil pump or Big ends gone.
Do i need a new engine or can it be re-built?

I need it to cost as little as possible (getting married in 2 months) great timing
And any ideas who will do it for me?

If you're saying it seized, then a lot of major parts are likely damaged, possibly the crankshaft and journals, pistons, cylinders, valves, valve guides, and so on.
I assume you're in the UK, since that car was never sold in the US...a quick google:
