smaller is better, lighter and less $$$ for tires and rims, rubberband tires stink IMO, all depends on $$$ and what you want, there are many rims in search land, look and decide

I have 18's for summer and 16's for winter. I would not go with 19's due to reduced ride quality.

Depends on what you want them for? If you want style and comfort go with the 18's, but if you want out and out stand out wheels go with the 19's.

I have a set of 18" RS6 alloys on my A3 and I still get a great ride, a mate has a set of 19's and been lowered slightly on the same year and model car, and the ride in his is alot stiffer and more road noise. But then I have got road noise reducing tyres, and knowing him he'll have chucked on the cheapest boots he could find.

Hi, got a 2012 a3 quattro 170 2.0 tdi. Front tyres are down to 3 mm and 4.5mm on the back. Do I have to change all 4 tyres at the same time due to it being quattro or do I just do the front or back as and when? Oops hijacked your post ,sorry.
