Default 2006 a3 2.0t

Hello everyone I'm new to the forum. I have my 2006 Audi A3 2.0T and I'm having a problem. I was driving it 2 days ago when suddenly it just made a little noise and started dropping speed I was going like 70mph on the freeway(yes I know that's over the speed limit). I had time to pull over to the shoulder safely. Came to realize the car had turned off as it slowed down. Had to tow it home after that. Once we got home we started checking it. 2 spark plugs were soaking in oil. Not sure how or what could cause that, we think it might be a gasket. And the car doesn't turn on. When I crank it it wants to but it won't turn on. Hopefully someone can give me some advice or help with my problem. Thanks in advance.

Well first of all you need to fix what is obviously broken. Then we can troubleshoot what else could be causing the car not to start/run.

1. Oil in spark plugs indicate a leaking or bad valve cover gasket. Take the cover off and have the gasket replaced.
2. Replace the spark plugs (just replace all 4 to be safe)
3. If you never replaced the coil packs, I would tackle those as well. They are known to fail or cause issues down the line - especially if they are still the original ones.

Now once you have at least 1.+2. tackled, see how the car does. See if it is throwing any codes (Vag-COM is your friend).

The 2006-2008 2.0t is known for Cam follower issues, that would be the next logical item to check. When it goes, it takes the camshaft out, throwing metal particles into your engine, clogging the oil pickup screen as well as damaging the High Pressure Fuel pump.
--> If this is case, have an Audi dealership take a look. They warranty the Camshaft/follower issue up to 120k miles (disregard if you are over that mileage).

Report back with findings and we'll troubleshoot further. Good luck!
