Default 2006 A3 3.2 A/C question

I fee like the A/C is pretty slow to blow cool air compared to other cars. I put one of those cheap gauges on it today after letting it cool for a few minutes and got 35 psi at an ambient temp of about 80 degrees. Does this sound right?

Once the air starts cooling it does blow cold- it just seems to take forever to blow cold.

Unfortunately that sounds very normal to me
I've had the same problem on the 07 car for years until it finally died all together. I figured heck yes finally time to get a new after market A/C that will do better... well turns out all the direct bolt-on A/C seem to be the same when it comes to cooling performance. They take a while to get cold and once they do it still isn't great

Temp is not measured in psi. s/b be Fahrenheit (F). Usually anything below 45-50F is acceptable.
